Martha Proctor

Martha Lucille Proctor, 87, Clarksville, died Sunday, June 13, 2010, at Palm Springs, CA. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Greenwood Cememtery with Roy Goodmiller officiating. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel. She was born July 27, 1922 in Montgomery County, TN and was preceded in death by her parents, James R. and Mary Frances Collier Powell, and her husband, James Robert Proctor Sr. Mrs. Proctor was a homemaker and a member of Hilldale Church of Christ. She is survived by her sons, James Robert "Bobby" Proctor, Clarksville, Rev. Tamber K. Proctor, Waynesboro, MS; brother, James L. Powell Jr., Clarksville; sister, Polly Houde, Clarksville; five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Michael Proctor, Levi Arel, Wyatt Arel, Jacob Proctor, Tommy Shearon, Ricky Jackson, Bob Abraham and Tyler Proctor. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County, P.O. Box 571, Clarksville, TN 37041 or the Building Fund of Antioch Assembly of God Church, 2130 Waynesboro-Shubuta Road, Waynesboro, MS 39367.
