Martha Dora Neblett, 61, Dover, Tennessee, died Thursday, June 24, 2010, at her daughter's residence. The funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at McReynolds Nave Larson Chapel with Rev. David Mackens officiating. Burial will be in Rye's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from Noon till 8:00 p.m. Saturday and from noon until service time Sunday at the funeral home.
McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Neblett was born January 26, 1949, in Houston County, the daughter of Charles and Bertie Mathis Gibson. She was a home maker and long time member of the Slayden Church of God of Prophecy. Mrs. Neblett was preceded in death by her parents, former husband, James B. Neblett Sr., daughter, Teresa Evans, and her son, Ricky Neblett, sisters, Betty Belles, Jesse Gregory and Mary Ann Craven,and brothers, James Dillard Gibson and Charles Mackey. Mrs. Neblett is survived by her children, James B.(Shawnette) Neblett Jr., Cumberland Furnace, Tina (Bob) Granado, Dover, Lawrence (Crystal) Neblett and Timmy (Susan) Neblett both of Cunningham. Sisters: Lynn(Gerald) Runnings and Shirley (Jimmy) Thomas, both of Michigan, and Sarah (Charlie) Neblett, Adams. Brothers: John (Betty) Gibson, Vanleer, Bobby (Vera) Gibson, Slayden, Westley Gibson, Raymond Gibson and Joe Gibson all of Michigan, William (Wanda)Gibson, Virginia. Brothers in law: Dewayne Belles, Michigan and Wayne Gregory, Missouri. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Scott Trotter, Gary Trotter, David Neblett, Cooper Neblett, Jason Stokes, Coty Neblett, Terry Evans, Jr., Timothy Neblett and Michael Merry.
