Martha Ann Jarman, 80, Palmyra, went to be with her Lord on Monday, December 17, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 22, 2012 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Stafford officiating. Burial will follow in the First Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Martha was born August 6, 1932 in Montgomery County, daughter of James and Ruth Baggett Nesbitt. She retired from a career in the health care industry and was a faithful member of First Canaan Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Jarman and her son, Leonard Jarman. She is survived by her loving children, Matthew Jarman and wife Denise, Cecil Jarman and wife Beverly, James Jarman and wife Kathy, Teresa Day, and Sheila Reed and significant other Don Adams; and sisters, Irene Keck and Mary Lou Colon. She was the proud grandmother of ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to First Canaan Baptist Church.
