Martha Emery

Martha Ruth Emery, age 94, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023.
The Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at the Chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the hour of service on Saturday at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Martha entered into this life on April 21, 1929, in Mauk, Georgia, daughter of the late Rice and Eula Chapman Watson. She was a devoted Army wife and mother who spent much of her time tending the home. She swelled with love and pride when it came to her family, especially all of her grandchildren. She was the widow of the late Harold Emery.
Survivors include her Children, Laurie Barbee (Mike), Susan Haley (Gary), Dominique Emery, Charles Emery (Taylor) and Paul Emery (Janis); Grandchildren, Brian Haley (Jennifer), Natalie George (Chris), John Emery, Sara Emery, Paige Ransdell (Blake), and Danielle Emery; her Great-Grandchildren, Haley Trentham (Jansen), Emery George, Grace George, Adler Ransdell; and her Great-Great Granddaughter, Violet Claire Trentham.
