Martha Lamarr Cole, 82 of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Pat VanDyke officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday evening and from 12 noon until the hour of service on Wednesday.
Martha was born in Jellico, Tennessee on March 22, 1933 to Alex Housley and Rose Witt Housley. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Cole; son, Marty D. Couk; brother, Skeeze Housley; sister, Bertha Mae Breitenstein.
Martha was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, Clarksville. She was an avid golfer and retired from Cole Park Golf Course Fort Campbell.
She is survived by her daughter, Margaret G. Couk; brother, Herbert Housley; grandchildren, Stephanie Gail Miller and Adam Dean Couk; great-grandchildren, William Dean Miller and Wesley Andrew Miller.
Pallbearers will be Randy Moore, Steve Morgan, Robin Housley, Herbie Housley, Adam Couk, and Skeeter Housley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation at 200 SE 1st Street Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131.
