Martha Armes

Martha Jane "Janie" Armes, age 83, of Clarksville, passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021, at Tennova Healthcare.

A Celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Lannom officiating. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, August 31, 2021, and again on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Martha entered into this life on October 22, 1937, in Clarksville, TN to the late Liston and Dora Murphy Gaither.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Ralph Armes; brother, Russell Gaither; sisters, Mildred Zander, Lois Collins, Mary Alice Jackson.

Survivors include her daughters, Lynnetta (Paul) Nadeau; Kathy (Robert) Cruise, Lori (David) Kirkland; grandchildren, Amanda (Tony) Rodriguez, Lacy McAllister (Steven Scroggins), Clayton Kirkland; great-grandchildren, Brady and Ethan Rodriguez, Carter McAllister; brother, Carl Edward Gaither; sisters, Dorothy Carlson, Frances Spencer, Rubye Potter.

Pallbearers will be Clayton Kirkland, Brady Rodriguez, Ethan Rodriguez, Phil Arms, Jr., Tommy Arms, and Stanley Arms.
