Marsie Hayes, age 81 of Clarksville, TN, passed away February 3rd, 2022 at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
Marsie was born April 21st, 1940 the last of eight children of Frank Brown and Marsie Parchman Hudson in Houston County, TN. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 31 years, Robert Hayes; grandson Corey Valasquez of Memphis, TN and three great-grandchildren; brother Barnee Mack Hudson of Erin, TN; nieces and nephews Linda Sealy (Ronnie) of Cottontown, TN, Janice Thornhill of Cottontown, TN, Bruce Brake (Betty) of Springfield, TN, Dr. David Cheatham, Clarksville, TN, and Lisa Barrow of Simpsonville, SC.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kayla Valasquez, and brothers and sisters Rebecca Brake, Dunbar Hudson, Vearline Hudson, Paul J. Hudson, Jeanetta Cheatham, and Betty McCormack.
Marsie's family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday, February 11th, 2022 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. A Committal Ceremony will follow at 2 p.m. Friday the 11th at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, 5817 Fort Campbell Blvd., Hopkinsville, KY 42240.
