Marshall `Wes` Wesley, 71, Clarksville, died Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at Montgomery Care & Rehabilitation Center. The funeral will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. David Mackens officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville with full military honors. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home. Wes was born February 10, 1937 in Charlotte, NC the son of Henry Wesley and Addie Bumgardner Wesley. He retired from the U.S. Army after 24 years of service; three tours in Germany, two tours in Vietnam. Wes was a member of the 101st Airborne and the 82nd Airborne. Survivors include his wife, Leontine "Tina" Van Hulst Wesley, Clarksville; Anthony "Tony" (Elena) Wesley, Nashville; daughter, Monique "Nicky" (David) Boles, Nashville; grandsons, Michael W. Britt, Austin W. Britt, Ethan C. Britt and Nickolas Marshall Wesley; sisters, Patricia Rodriquez, Virginia, Margie Jean Julian, North Carolina; brother, Walter L. Bolick, North Carolina. Military will serve as pallbearers.
