1st Sgt (retired) Mark J. Lamneck , 45, Clarksville, died Friday, April 23, 2010, at his residence. A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday with full military honors at McReynolds-Nave and Larson with Chaplain Capt Chris Harris and Rev. Harold Boullion, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home at the funeral home.
McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born May 25, 1964, in Columbus, Ohio, and was preceeded in death by his wife, Lori Anne Lamneck. Mark was a Christian and had just retired from the US Army after 24 years of service. He was also an Iraqi War Veteran serving two Tours and the recipient of 8 Army Commendation Medals, 7 Army Achievement Medals, Army Superior Unit Award, 7 Army Good Conduct Medals, 2 National Defense Service Medals, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, 2 Non Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbons, Army Service Ribbon, 5 Overseas Service Ribbons, UN Medal, Cambat Medical Badge, Expert Field Medical Badge and Basic Aviation Badge. Survivors include his father, Robert (Patricia) Lamneck, Gahanna, OH; mother, Judy Osborne Evans, Columbus, OH; children, Megan Lee Lamneck, Mathew Michael Lamneck, Hannah Marie Lamneck and John Luke Lamneck, all of Atlanta, GA; brother, Jason (Shelley) Lamneck, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and his sister, Christina (Andrew) Armstrong, Indianapolis, IN.
