Marilyn Sue Sutton

Marilyn “Sue” Sutton, age 83 of Erin, TN, passed away Friday, May 22, 2020 at Centennial Medical Center.

A celebration of her life will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 2020 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Rev. Benny Torres officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Spring Church Cemetery.

The Sutton family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.

Sue entered this life on September 15, 1936 in Montgomery County, TN, daughter to the late Claude and Francis Jones Riley. Sue was a faithful member of Peach Grove Church for nearly 50 years where she taught Sunday School and served as secretary.

In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Norris Sutton; daughter, Nita Sutton, brothers; Alton Riley and Don Riley.

Survivors include her loving children, Claude Sutton, Scott Sutton, Lisa (Dale) Perigo; foster daughter, Debra Paynter, and brother, Charles Riley. Sue also leaves behind her grandchildren, Joshua Kohler, Beau Kohler, Charles Kohler, Macey Vincent, Hunter Sutton, Justus Perigo, Fisher Sutton; great-grandchildren, Eli Kohler, Josiah Kohler, Solomon Kohler, Maddix Finch, Raylan Kohler, Teddy Kohler, Emmalynn Sutton; foster grandchildren, Amanda, Ashley, C.J., Tyler; and a host of foster great-grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Kohler, Beau Kohler, Charles Kohler, Hunter Sutton, Justus Perigo, and Will Vincent.
