Marilyn Langley

Marilyn Margaret Langley, 65, Erin, died Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at her residence. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Erin United Methodist Church with Bro. Ken Wallace and Sis. Harriet Bryan Harris officiating. Burial will be in Brown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. till 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 8 a.m. till 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. She was born September 11, 1943 in Erin Tn, daughter of the late James Tomlinson and Christine Moore Tomlinson. She was a life long member of Erin United Methodist Church, past president of Erin Rotory club, past president of Houston County chamber of commerce and 1997 lord high mayor. Survivors include her husband Samuel Langley of Erin; daughter, Teresa Beth Curley, Nashville; stepdaughter, Jennifer Herricks, Paducah, Ky; stepson Patrick B.Langley, Smyrna, Tn; two brothers, Tilton Tomlinson and Willard Tomlinson both of Erin Tn.; three sisters Janita Kunnan of Smyrna,Tn. Norma Meadows and Elizabeth Featherstone both of Erin, Tn. and six grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Meadows, Gary Meadows, Timmy Meadows, Chuck Featherstone, Tyler Featherstone and Lorne Meadows.
