Marie Self

Marie Self, 84, Shiloh Community, died Sunday, April 26, 2009, at her residence. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at McReynolds-Nave-Larson Chapel with Bro. Gene Belt officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home. She was born June 20, 1924 in Montgomery County and was preceded in death by her parents, Isham G. and Ella Baggett Harris; and her husband, Upton Self. Mrs. Self was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant View Community Church. Survivors include her son, Randel (Connie) Self, Shiloh Community; daughters, Judy (Donald) Devers, Shiloh Community, Sheila (Ed) Burr, Greenbrier; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Greg Burr, Cody Parker, Robert Landon, Charlie Peniston, David Self and Johnny Harris. Memorials may be made to Pleasant View Community Church, P.O. Box 96, Cunningham, TN 37052.
