Marie "Granny" Chisenhall, age 87, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 24, 2017.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Dr. William Luffman officiating. She will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Marie entered into this life on January 3, 1930 in Stewart County to the late Fate McDaniel and Goldie Mae Garner. Granny was retired from a career as a nurse's assistant and enjoyed caring for the residents of Clarksville Nursing Home for many years. She was also a founding member of Faith Outreach Church and relished in worship of her Lord and fellowship with church family.
In addition to her parents, Marie goes to be reunited with her husband, Paul Chisenhall. Survivors include her children, Paul Chisenhall and wife Beth, Dorothy Perry and husband Lonnie, Paulette Cross, Ginger Luffman and husband Dr. William, and April Couch and husband Ron; brothers, Edward Plunkett and Billy McDaniel; sisters, Jeanette Harper, Geneva Tanner, Ann Plunkett, and Joyce Christian. "Granny", as she was affectionately known, was the proud grandmother of 16 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Matt Walker, Chuck Ginyard, Adam Decker, Andrew Decker, Lane Chisenhall, and John Holva.
