Marian Smith

Marian E. Smith, Clarksville, went to be with The Lord, February, 18, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center. Celebration of life services will be held at 11 am Thursday, February 23, 2012 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Jeff Tilden officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4-8pm Wednesday and 9 am until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Marian was born September 15, 1934 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of the late Ernest and Juanita Burge Gaskill. She was a retired Logistics Management Specialist for Civil service at Ft. Campbell and one of her many awards received was the Middle Tennessee Federal Employee of the year in 1981, and was a member of Hilldale Baptist Church. She is survived by husband, Roy Smith, JR, Sons Ronald D. Smith of Clarksville and Clinton Smith of Dickson , TN, Daughters, Debora Ann Lively of Newport News, VA and Sandra Juanita Tilden of Clarksville Brothers, James Gaskill of Kansas City, MO and Nathan Gaskill of Houston. TX Sisters Donna Jurd and Shirley Zbinden both of Jefferson City, MO and Sharon Madden of Zainsville, OH Grandchildren, Sara Axley, Crystal Beard, Jeffery Tilden, April Jowell, Amber Glynn, Adam Robertson, Joel Smith, Heather Smith, Mark Tilden, Devin Smith, Haley Smith, and seven great-grandchildren.
