Marian Priscilla Davidson, age 87, Cumberland Furnace, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Baptist Hospital.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, December 23, 2012 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Bros. Richard Hughes and Brian Hanvey officiating. Burial will follow in the Waynick Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Sunday at the funeral home.
Marian was born December 20, 1925 in Slayden, Tennessee, daughter of Henry Hawk, Sr. and Mary Bradford Hawk. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of the Slayden Church of God of Prophecy.
Marian was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Davidson, children David Davidson and Patricia Powers, brother Henry Hawk, Jr, and two granddaughters.
She is survived by her faithful and loving family which includes her daughters, Geneva Fain of Cunningham, Brenda Digby of Murfreesboro, and Teresa Graybill of Clarksville; siblings Frederick Hawk of Cumberland Furnace and Vivian Spann of Burns; seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ernest Green and members of the Slayden Church of God of Prophecy.
