Marguerite Woodard Farmer Rubel, 91, Clarksville, died peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Sunday, March 6, 2011 in Memphis. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Madison Street United Methodist Church with Rev. Lenoir Culbertson and Rev. Jimmy Terry officiating. Burial will be in Belmont Cemetery, Allensville, KY. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel and from 1 p.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the church. She was born January 17, 1920 in Saint Bethlehem, TN and was preceded in death by her parents, William Compton and Alice Henry Bell Woodard; husband, William E. Rubel; brothers, Frank Woodard, Roy Woodard; son, William Michael Farmer; and the father of her children, Reams D. Farmer. Mrs. Rubel was a member of Madison Street United Methodist Church and graduated from Clarksville High School in 1938. She loved singing and playing the Piano. Survivors include her daughter, Linda Farmer Lee, Memphis; granddaughter, Jacqueline Ann Farmer, Clarksville; step-sons, Randy Rubel, Billy Rubel, and Tom Rubel; cousins, Sonny and Beverly Woodard, Frank and Marty Woodard, Chip and Marynette McClure. Pallbearers will be Don Trotter, Don Sharpe, Randy Rubel, Walter Lee, Chip Woodard and Dudley Phillips. Memorials may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital, P.O.
