Margie Hite

Margie Baggett Hite, age 90, of Clarksville TN, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at 4 p.m. at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. David Mackens officiating. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the hour of the service.

She was born in Montgomery Co. TN, on January 4, 1933, daughter of the late Dillon and Bertha Dawson Baggett. Margie was a member of Salem United Methodist Church and she retired from ACME Boot Company. Margie’s home was always open to anyone who needed a home-cooked meal. She was a caregiver to many over the years and loved nothing more than spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by daughter, Gloria Jan Shelton; sisters, Opal McDaniel, Betty Lillian Nelson; brothers, William Baggett, Lonzo Baggett, Alzo Baggett.

Survivors include her children, Jimmie (Cheryl) Hite Jr., Randal (Amanda) Hite, and Marianne Williams; grandchildren, Emily Medvecky, William Shelton, Jeremy Hite, Ryan Hite, Brianna Burress, Travis Hite, Randal Hite, Jacob Hite; ten great-grandchildren; brother, J D Baggett.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Clarksville Association of Down Syndrome at 1317 Sun Valley Road Clarksville TN 37040.
