Margie L. Borden, 65, Clarksville, passed away July 5, 2011 at Gateway Medical Center. A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2011 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. Rob Courtney officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, 4 until 8 p.m. on Friday, and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Margie was born March 21, 1946 in Alabama, daughter of Albert and Inez Collins Roberts. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and most recently attended Macadonia Presbyterian Church, a published author, retired owner of Ann's Investigations where she was a Private Investigator, and a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband "Nubbin" William Borden of Clarksville, sons Tony and Cody Borden, both of Clarksville, daughters P.J. Denton, Lisa Thabet, Freda (David) Edwards, Regina (Tim) Weedon, Cindy (Jimmy) Andrew, all of Clarksville, brother John Roberts of Clarksville, sisters Dorothy Burton, Inis Jo Benton, and Betty Roberts, all of Clarksville, and Helen Pritchett of Athens, TN, grandchildren Jonathan Perry, Bryan Perry, Stephanie Borden, Jared Andrew, Cyle Andrew, Amber Stanley, Bill Edwards, Chad Price, Brett Price, Michael Aaron Denton, Coy Denton, Marlana Roberts, Bradford Roberts, Christy Borden, Casey Weeden, Timothy Weeden, Dakota Weeden, Matt Borden, and Kara Borden, and great-grandchildren Jackson Andrew and Jordan Borden.
