Margaret Smith

Margaret B. Smith, 93, Shiloh, died Tuesday, January 29, 2008, at Erin Care & Rehab, Erin. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Greg Jones officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. til 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. til 8 p.m. Thursday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Friday at the church. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born July 26, 1914 in Montgomery County, TN, daughter of Robert W. Britt and Nora Robinson Britt. Other than her parents, she was the preceded in death by her husband, Fay E. Smith; brothers, Boyd Britt, Raymond Britt, Herschel Britt, J.T. Britt; sisters, Edna Nesbitt, Orabell Hayes, Lucy Mae Allen and Mary Powers. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and a member of Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn (David) Atkins, Old Hickory; grandchildren, Terri Atkins Cocke and John (Brandi) Atkins; great-grandchildren, Austin Cocke, Annaliese Cocke, Tanner Cocke and Jordin Atkins. Pallbearers will be Randal Hayes, John Atkins, Brandon Chambers, Charlie Britt, Buford Britt, C.L. Burkhart and Austin Cocke. Maurice Powers will serve as honorary pallbearers.
