Margaret Louvenia Bryant Rye, age 94, of Clarksville, passed away on Thursday, May 3 2018, at her residence.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 6, 2018 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Stafford officiating. Burial will follow at First Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery.
The Rye family will receive friends from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2018 and 12 p.m. until the hour of service Sunday at the funeral home.
Margaret entered into this life on September 1, 1923 in Montgomery County, TN daughter of the late Thomas Wesley Bryant and Mollie Rye Bryant. She was a member of First Canaan Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Lawrence J. Rye.
Survivors include her sons, Danny (Gail) Rye, Billy (Brenda) Rye, and Ted (Ginny) Rye; daughters, Kathleen (Walt) Telfer, Linda (Bill) Vanderwege, Margaret (Charles) Kelly, nineteen grandchildren, twenty four great-grandchildren, and numerous great-great grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Canaan Baptist Church.
