Margaret Powers

Margaret Elaine Powers, age 78, of Dover, TN passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.

Celebration of Life will be held 12 noon on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Shocklee officiating.

Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Margaret entered this life on October 7, 1945, in Beaumont, Texas to the late Clarence and Margaret Wilson Minchew. She was a member of Church of Christ at Trenton Crossing where she could often be found volunteering with The Well ministry. Margaret was a retired schoolteacher with 37 years’ experience including Montgomery County and Stewart County School Systems. She loved the Dallas Cowboys, playing scrabble and rummy.

Survivors include her husband, Carl Powers; children, Corbin (Debbie) Reynolds, and Cassie (John) Reed; sister, Patty Zenior; grandchildren, Taylour, Baylee, Charlie, Anne Marie, Andrew, and Thomas; great-grandchildren, Hugo, Deacon, Ace, and Zachary.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Well, 2650 Trenton Road, Clarksville, TN 37040.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
