Margaret Lee "Polly" Stone, age 94, of Clarksville, passed away Monday, September 2, 2013 at Clarksville Nursing & Rehab.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and 12 noon until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home.
Polly entered this life on April 20, 1919, the daughter of William Lee Hogue and Beddie Ann Suiter Hogue. She was a dedicated wife and loving mother who also had a career outside the home as a department store sales clerk. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 5th Ward.
In addition to her parents, Polly was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin H. Stone and her brothers and sisters. Survivors include her son, Wayne Stone and wife Peggy of Clarksville, and daughters, Wanda Russell and husband Jerry of Dover and Janie Stone of Madison. She was the loving grandmother of Curtis Stone, Michael Jenkins, Holly Daniel, and Leah Jenkins, nine great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Members of the family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
