Margaret "Peggy" Hofe

Margaret (Peggy) Rae Goodling Hofe, age 92 went home to be with Jesus Friday, September 28, 2018.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 6, 2018 at the Grace Sanctuary of First Baptist Church- Clarksville, with Dr. Felts Dent and Pat Van Dyke officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
The Hofe family will receive friends Saturday, from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.
Margaret was born July 12, 1926 in Loganville, York County, Pennsylvania to the late Lloyd T. Goodling and Grace Naomi Hengst Goodling. She was preceded in death by her husband Irvin C. Hofe; two sons, Kenneth (Jill) Hofe and Randy (Barb) Hofe; one grandchild, Tobie (Bart) Sandfer, five sisters, and three brothers.
Margaret is survived by her sister, Nancy (Joe) Carbaugh; sons, Donald (Jean) Hofe, and Jeffrey (Diane) Hofe, grandchildren, Jason (Linda) Hofe, Sandy (Chris) Remphrey, Timothy (Nicole) Hofe, James (Chrissy) Hofe, Shannon (Robert) Ontiveros, and Corkie (Jeff) Cash, six great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Margaret was a member of First Baptist Church-Clarksville, she was a Christian whose delight in life was serving others and giving hugs.
Pallbearers will be Steven Wall, Frank White, Randy Chadwick, David Hall, Dennis McGee, Donn Goins, and Ted Reece.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the FBC JOY Class.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Find Us Faithful Fund.
