Maj. Scott Swindell

Maj. Scott Swindell, age 37, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025 in Landstuhl, Germany.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.

Scott will be laid to rest with Full Military Honors on Friday, March 14, 2025 at 1 p.m. at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.

Scott entered this life on June 14, 1987. He was currently serving with the 16th Sustainment Brigade in The United States Army. He had previously served with the 101st Airborne Division as well as the 1st Calvary Division in Fort Cavazos, TX. Aside from being a dedicated soldier, Scott was a loving husband, son, brother, and friend. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing golf.

He is preceded in death by his father, Farrell Swindell.

Survivors include his loving wife of 13 years, Stephanie Swindell; mother, Cathy Swindell; siblings, Wendi Claywell, of Richmond, IN, Kim Portzlienz, of Denver, CO, Amber Swindell, of Mt. View, CA, Mitchell Swindell, of Clinton, MO, and Chip Swindell, of Bluffton, IN.
