Madie Beasley

Madie Lee Beasley, 78, Clarksville, died Thursday, January 6, 2011, at her residence. A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Dr. Felts Dent officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Sunday at the funeral home. She was born June 20, 1932 in Dodge County, GA and was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Watson and Susie Corine Lowry Hamphrey; and her husband, Everett Lamar Beasley Sr. Mrs. Beasley was retired from B.F. Goodrich and a member of the Assembly of God and enjoyed gardening and yardwork. Survivors include her son, Everett (June) Beasley Jr., Clarksville; daughter, Linda (Tim) Burchett, Clarksville; brother, Von Humphrey, Austin, TX; sister, Eunice Simmons, Helena, GA; grandchildren, Joseph Christopher Gassett, Clarksville, Shannon Leigh Bratton, San Antonio, TX, Kelly Perot, Biloxi, MS; twelve great-grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Greg Poole, Tim Burchett, David Smith, Chris Gassett, Jeff Smith and Paul Hardwick. Honorary pallbearers will be Carol Poole and Shaun Bratton.
