Lurlene Bromley Keatts, 67, Indian Mound, died Thursday, August 20, 2009, at her home. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Mike Howard officiating. Burial will be in Smith-Austin Cemetery, Indian Mound. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday and from 12 noon until the time of service Sunday at the funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born March 23, 1942 in Montgomery County, TN, daughter of Ernest and Catherine Jackson Bromley. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by daughters Catherine Maxine Roby and Tammy Ann Austin and sisters Faye Kennedy and Jenette Vane. Mrs. Keatts was a tax preparer and a member of Hopewell Methodist Church. She is survived by her son Lacy Lyndon Austin of Indian Mound; daughter Tracy Laurie Arlene Buchanan; brother Jesse (Cowboy) Bromley of Indian Mound; sisters Patsy Patterson and Elizabeth Erickson; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Charles Buchanan, Tim Roby, Lacy Austin Jr., Rusty Roby, Dean Keatts, and Sammy Keatts.
