Lula Vaughn

Lula H. Vaughn, age 87, of Stewart County, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2013 at Houston County Community Hospital.
Visitation will be 4-8pm Monday and 11am until service time Tuesday at Nave Funeral Home in Erin. A celebration of her life will be 1pm Tuesday at the Funeral Home with burial following at Cumberland City Cemetery. Rev. Paul Moody will be officiating.
Mrs. Vaughn was born December 2, 1925 in Stewart County, the daughter of the late John W. and Blanche Martin Hodges. For 26 years she was self employed in the family’s shoe store business. She was also a member of First Baptist Church in Cumberland City, an Eastern Star and Rainbow Girls.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Danny Vaughn, Cumberland City, daughters; Joan Lemons Parker (Vernon), Goodlettsville, Judy Mann, Cumberland City, grandsons; Darren Parker(Donna), Adam Mann(Karis), Alabama, and 2 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Arnold Hodges, Gary Vaughn, Maurice Vaughn, Keith Vaughn, Edsel Vaughn, Dwight Vaughn, Lynn Welch, and Gene Stinson.
