Lucius Leigh “Luke” Langford “Papa Langford”, age 82 of Clarksville, passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2014.
A celebration of life service with full military honors will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 29, 2014 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Sunday and from 12 noon until the hour of service on Monday at the funeral home.
Lucius was born on January 28, 1932 in Fairview, TN, the son of Leonard Monroe Langford and Lena Louise Jones Langford. He retired from the U.S. Army after 23 years and was a member of the American Legion. He was a Baptist and loved to fish and hunt.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Johnson Langford; sons, Leonard (Dee) Langford, Kenneth (Trish) Langford, Richard Langford, and James Langford; daughters, Kimberly Drum and Pamela (Shane) Smithhart; brother, Steve R. Langford; 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
