Lucille Stone, 90, formerly of Clarksville, died Thursday, October 1, 2009, at in Alexandria, Louisianna. The funeral will be held at 12 noon Wednesday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Bishop Dan Reese officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Stone was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was born November 12, 1918, daughter of Issac Denton and Emma Barrett Denton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bentley Randolph Stone, brothers Hollis Denton, Horace Denton, and Dorris Denton, and sisters Lorene Burgess, Ruby Denton, and Lizzie Musser. Survivors include her son, Donald Joe Stone of Cunningham; daughters Dorothy McLendon of Brooklyn, MS, Linda Gail Hazelton of Alexandria, LA, and Sarah Erskine of Clarksville; sister Delma Black of Clarksville; thirteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
