Lucile Bourne

Lucile Jones Bourne, 91, Clarksville, TN, died Sunday, September 19, 2010, at Gateway Medical Center. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Dr. Roger Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Bourne was born July 20, 1919 in Neptune, TN, and was preceded in death by her parents, J. Hill and Inez Pearl Bobbit Jones; husband, L.C. Bourne Jr; and her brother, Tyree Jones. She was a homemaker, a former secretary at Community Hospital in Indianapolis, IN and a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters, Susan (Jack) Chism, Greenville, IL, Jill (Rich) Swanson, Winfield, IL; sisters, Sarah Bates, Murfreesboro, TN , Virginia Bates, Clarksville, TN; eight grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
