Loyal "Ray" Tanner, age 76 of Stewart, TN, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at his residence.
Ray was born on December 9, 1937 in Houston County, TN, son of the late George and Rhoda Tanner.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Kathrine Tanner; sons, Loyal R. Tanner JR, Joseph Tanner, Brian K. Tanner, Brian R. Tanner; daughters, Claire Kovacks, Wendy Gayle Ruth, Karen Tanner, Cindy Buzonowski; brothers, Roger Tanner, Gury Tanner, David Tanner, Algenon Tanner, Edward Tanner; sisters, Betty Sutton, Susa Studdard, Linda Murphy, Brenda Villarrell, and Nadien Lane. Loyal also leaves behind 16 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, November 15, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at his residence,1071 Hurricane Creek Rd. Stewart, TN, 37175.
