Louise G. Meador, 80, Clarksville, died Sunday, August 22, 2010, at Gateway Medical Center. A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Olivet Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Oliver and Rev. Gene Parton officiating. Burial will be in Sulphur Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Franklin, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the church. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Louise was born February 28, 1930 in Simpson County, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Aaron and Zenobia Johnson Grainger, and her husband, Henry Frank Meador. She retired as a legal secretary from Marks, Marks and Shell in 1992 and began her role as a fulltime grandmother. She was a member of Olivet Freewill Baptist Church. During their 60 year marriage Louise enjoyed playing piano and singing with her husband, Frank. She is survived by her daughter Frances (Fran) Meador, Clarksville; sisters, Elizabeth Dunn and Mary Willis, both of Franklin, KY; and granddaughters, Robin Sloan and Hayley Sloan. Pallbearers will be Danny McGregor, Eric Sloan, Sheldon Lowe and her nephews, Ron Dunn, Van Willis, Clint Willis, Alan Lani and Jim Pierce. Memorials may be made to Olivet Freewill Baptist Church.
