Louise Green

Willie “Louise” Green went to be with the Lord and was reunited with her family for a glorious homecoming in Heaven on April 29, 2014.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, May 1 at Slayden Baptist Church.
Louise’s family will receive friends on Wednesday April 30 from 4-8 PM at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home and from 12 until the hour of service on Thursday at the church.
Louise entered this life on October 1, 1930 and was the daughter of the late William and Mattie Baggett Herrell. She was known to many as Mama Louise and Mammie. She loved her family, sewing, flowers, cooking for others, her church, and the Lord.
Louise goes on to be reunited with the only one she lovingly gave her heart to, the late Robert Leslie Green. She was also the devoted and caring mother to the late Shirley Green Blackwell and late David Green.
Louise will also be reunited with her late sisters and brothers, Betty Jean Holt, Freeman Herrell, Verlie Herrell, James Herrell, and Edgar Herrell, and her granddaughter, Gidget Vaughn.
Louise is survived by her sisters, Eula Mixon, Rebecca Green, and Mildred Cato. Her loving son-n-law Bobby Blackwell, Her grandchildren, Bobbi Jane Blackwell, Michael Blackwell, Susie Yonkers, and William Green. Great-grandchildren, Kayla Gerard, Madisen and Meagan Blackwell, Brayden Yonkers, Lesley Green, Courtney Sanford, Hunter Stokes, Siera Stokes, and Georgia Stokes. Family will serve as pallbearers.
