Louis Rittenberry

Louis Oneal Rittenberry, age 79, of Clarksville, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Tennova Healthcare.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2022, with Rev. John Richardson officiating. Burial will follow at Sango Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, June 24, and again from 1 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home on Saturday.

Louis entered this life on March 26, 1943, in Cheatham County, TN to the late Charlie and Frances Hester Rittenberry. Louis was a member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church. He was an ornamental iron craftsman for Tennessee Iron Works. Louis’s work can be found at Opryland Hotel, Vanderbilt University, and many country legends' homes such as Alan Jackson and Lori Morgan.

Survivors include his loving wife of sixty years, Mary Wilkins Rittenberry; daughters, Shelia Marie and her husband, Jimmy Fallis, Sherry Louise and husband Brian Marek; brother, Martin Rittenberry; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Marek, Jessica Renea Marek, and James Fallis; great-grandchild, Nicholas Patrick Fallis.

Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
