Lois Jackson

Lois Carpenter Jackson, age 90 of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Lois entered this life on July 5, 1931, in Maryville, TN to the late Hubert and Mattie Wells Carpenter. She spent her years as a homemaker, raising children, whom she loved dearly. In her spare time, Lois enjoyed shopping, sewing, quilting, and collecting fabric. More than anything, she cherished time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roy E. Jackson; sons, Roy C. Jackson “Chuck”, and James A. Jackson; sisters, Marie (Dale) Gutridge, Reba (Buck) West, Erma (Thomas) Gutridge, Betty (Thomas) Cox, and Doris Jackson.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia A. Reed; daughter-in-law, Helen Jackson; brother-in-law, Merle Jackson; grandchildren, Gary Jackson, Erica Reed, Cathy Thomas, and Connie (Richard) Laws, 11 great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
