Lois Davidson, 84, Clarksville, died Sunday, September 6, 2009, at Spring Meadows Nursing Home. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Bro. Wayne Shelby officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born April 25, 1925 in Montgomery County, daughter of the late Lawrence Hugh Evans and Bessie Poole Evans. She was also preceded in death by her husbands Charles Shelby, Earl Dailey, and Leroy Davidson, son Johnny Shelby, brothers Morris Evans, Louis Evans, and sister Ora Evans Pulley. She was a homemaker and a member of Dotsonville Church of Christ. Survivors include her son Eugene Shelby of St. Petersburg, Florida, her brother Howard (Mildred) Evans of St. Louis, Missouri, and sisters Virginia Hilderbrand of Russellville, Kentucky, Dorothy Carney of Springfield, Missouri, and Margaret Crouch of Granite City, Illinois. Family and friends will be pallbearers.
