Lloyd Sharp- A Life Filled with Love and Rock and Roll

Lloyd Sharp, 63, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on April 9, 2024. Lloyd was born on July 16, 1960, in Campbellsville, Kentucky to Louis Sharp and Anita Griswald.
Lloyd was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Rhonda, and a loving father to his children. He cherished his role as "Pops" to his grandchildren, always ready with a joke, a warm hug, and endless support. Beyond his love for family, Lloyd was a lifelong Bruce Springsteen fan. His home was often filled with the sounds of The Boss, and he never missed a chance to belt out a Springsteen anthem at family gatherings. He was also an avid Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs fan.
Lloyd is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Rhonda Sharp, his children, Lucas (Erin) Sharp, Trisha (Sean Green) Sharp, Brooke (Cody) Miles, Brent King, his brothers, Louie Sharp and Les Sharp, father-in-law, Vernon A. (Sonny) Jernigan, his sister-in-law Teresa (Charles) Gaines, his brother-in-law Rafe Jernigan, his grandchildren, Aidan, Cody, Sara, Alayna, Trace and Emily, many nieces and nephews, his devoted husband-in-law Grover King and his beloved friend Jack Wickham. He is preceded in death by his father Louis Sharp and his mother-in-law Frances Jernigan.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2023 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on April 20, 2024, from 10:00 am- 11:00 am at the Funeral Home.  A luncheon to follow at Legends Smokehouse and Grill (803 S. Riverside Dr. Clarksville, TN). In lieu of traditional funeral attire, Lloyd would have loved for everyone to feel comfortable and wear a Bruce Springsteen, Chicago Bears/Cubs shirt or your favorite rock/sports attire, reflecting his
love for music and sports.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Heart Association. Lloyd will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He may be gone, but his spirit, his love, and his love for Bruce Springsteen will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
