Liz Jones

Clara Elizabeth Jones, age 85, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. She was lovingly known as “Liz”.

The funeral will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Trinity Episcopal Church with The Rev. Chad McCabe officiating.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 12 noon until the hour of service at the church.

Liz entered this life on July 9, 1939, in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Kurt and Hilda Bayerl Buchheim. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and a beloved teacher at Clarksville Academy, where she taught for many years. Liz was very socially active, being a member of both The Garden Club and Bridge Club.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Jones.

Survivors include her children, Mike Jones, and his wife, Tammy Jones; daughter, Kristin Wolfe, and her husband, Joe Wolfe; grandchildren, Kurt Jones, Carley Bowden, and her husband, Randolph Bowden and Lauren Stone.

Arrangements are in the care of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home, 1209 Madison St, Clarksville, TN 37040.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church.
