Linda Shelton

Linda Bell Shelton, age 73, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2018.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 22, 2018 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. Phillip Chambers officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Pleasant View Cemetery.
Linda's family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home.
Linda entered into this life on October 15, 1944 in Clarksville to the late Clifford and Hazel Adkins OBryan. Linda was retired from Acme Boot Co. and also had worked for Booster Manufacturing and Austin's Beauty College. She was a Baptist and especially loved tending her flowers and antiques. Most of all, Linda loved her family and caring for them.
Survivors include her loving husband of 44 years, David Shelton; her children, Larry Wayne Groves, Jr. (Susan) and Olevia Lockie Vann (Eugene); siblings, Rebecca L. Shelton, Joe D. OBryan, Peggy S. Maggard, Timothy M. OBryan. She also leaves behind her grandchildren whom she adored, Mamie Arnold, Lindsey Godsil, and Josh Groves, and her four great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a brother, Clifton G. OBryan.
Pallbearers will be Josh Groves, Chester Sale, Horst Maggard, Eugene Vann, Steven Godsil, Wendell Shelton, Kenny Copeland, and Rollow Welch.
