Linda Faye Rittenberry, age 74, of Clarksville ,TN passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023.
Celebration of Life will be held 12 noon on Friday, September 8, 2023, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Pastor Anna Daniels officiating. Burial will follow at Keesee Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. and again on Friday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Linda entered this life on February 9, 1949 in Clarksville, TN to William Henry Carney and Mattie Louise Rose Bateman Carney. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church and was a devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. When Linda was able, she enjoyed gardening and canning. She loved her dogs , Toby, Skeeter and Sis.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joel Rittenberry, and her brothers, Ricky and Billy Carney.
Survivors include her mother, Louise; children, Michael James Rittenberry (Lynn), Cathy Joann Stewart, and Randy Rittenberry; children by marriage, Brenda, Joe, and Danny Rittenberry; sister, Helen Lundy Korn; grandchildren, Daniel, Jessica (Thaddues), Rachel, Cassie, Kimberly, and Joel (Christina); great-grandchildren, Ava, Breanna, Marshall, Jolene, Serenity, Ethan, Victoria, Joel II, Chirstina, Skyler, and Caleb.
Pallbearers will be Nelson, Will, Joe, Dino, Rob, Thomas, Daniel, and Thaddeus.
