Linda Gail Martin-Johnson, a compassionate spirit and vibrant presence in the lives of those she touched, peacefully transitioned from this world on February 22, 2025, at her home in Bossier City, Louisiana. Born on October 11, 1954, Linda lived a life rich with purpose and a profound love for her family and friends.

Throughout her diverse career, Linda's warmth and dedication shown brightly. She was a licensed realtor who passionately helped families find their dream homes. Before that, she worked for Jay Garment and as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where she displayed her innate kindness and generosity in caring for others. Linda retired from JC Penney, bringing her signature charm and delightful smile to each customers interaction.

Education meant a great deal to Linda; she graduated from Clarksville High School and later earned an Associates degree in Theology. This commitment to learning reflected her depth and the remarkable foresight she possessed throughout her life.

Linda was not just a career woman; she was an exceptional artist whose creativity knew no bounds. Her talents in painting and sewing brought beauty into her own life and the lives of those fortunate enough to experience her creativeness. Linda believed in the power of creativity to express love and joy, turning each piece into a lasting memory.

Two things that were at the center of Linda's universe: Faith and Family. Linda had a deep and profound faith in GOD almighty. She was a faithful and loving servant to her LORD JESUS that helped countless individuals find salvation through his precious shed blood. She leaves behind her beloved sons, Robert (Stephanie) Nall, and Jeffrey (Mandy) Nall, as well as her cherished daughter, Alicia (JR) Ellis. She also leaves behind 6 beloved grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 7 nieces and 2 nephews. Linda is also survived by her dear siblings: Sheila (Richard) Johnson, Eddie Martin, and Teresa Adams. They will surely miss her warmth, wisdom, and the countless memories shared.

Linda joins her beloved mother, Margaret Wickham; grandmother, Nancy Luffman; brother, Baxter Earon, niece, Tammy Beecham, nephew, Joshua Martin, and sister-in-law, Joanne Martin, who have preceded her in death. 

Linda lived life to the fullest and showed everyone around her the power of love, kindness, and artistic expression. Her remarkable spirit and dedication to family will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May her memory continue to inspire and guide us, reminding us to embrace life with the same spirited determination she embodied.

Linda's family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2025 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will begin at 12 noon on Friday with Pastor William Luffman officiating. She will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dustin Nall, Blake Holt, Ryan Perry, Corey Tomlinson, Adam Bearns, and Jason Wells. Randy Meyers and Dillon Nall will serve as honorary pallbearers.
