Linda Joye Britt, age 75, of Cunningham, passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2018.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Steven Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow at Gum Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 1, 2019 from 4-7 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 12 noon until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Joye entered into this life on September 24, 1943 in Montgomery County, TN daughter of the late Roy and Hattie Bryant Mixon. She was a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lurton Darnell Britt.
Survivors include her son, Mark Darnell Britt; grandchildren, Marley Elizabeth Britt, and William Darnell Britt; brother, Larry (Darlene) Mixon, and sister, Cathy (Bobby) Belew.
Pallbearers will be Ralph Baggett, Curtis Clark, Wesley Mixon, Clint Elliott, Adam Elliott, and Todd Devers.
