Linda Lea Herrera, age 74 of Clarksville, TN went to be with our Lord Wednesday, February 8, 2023, after courageously battling lung cancer. Linda was surrounded by her loving family when she passed.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Burial of ashes will follow at Sango Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Linda entered this life on May 1, 1948, in Glenwood Springs, Colorado to the late Bernie and Julia Goodwin Gellinger. She was a member of Faith Community Church in Tucson, Arizona. Linda had a kind and compassionate heart. She loved her church and was passionate about her career. Linda was employed with the Colorado Regional Center for over 40 years. She enjoyed her time at work caring for the developmentally disabled. Linda was a storyteller and extremely close to her husband and family. Her famous quotes were “The true key to happiness is accessorizing.” And “I love you more than chocolate”.
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Rudy Herrera; sons, Shane (Kim) Herrera, and Scott (Vicki) Herrera; grandchildren, Michaela Herrera, Sam Herrera, Jacob “Dawg” (Madison) Pendley, Amanda (Bo) Driskell, and Kyle Herrera; Michaela and Sam’s mother, Tammy (Jay) Watkins.
