Linda Mackey Crow, age 76, of Clarksville, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at the Church of Christ at Trenton Crossing, 2650 Trenton Road, Clarksville, TN, with Geoffrey Sikes officiating. Linda’s family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 15, 2022, and again on Tuesday from 12:00 to 1:30 pm at the Trenton Crossing building. Linda will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery in Guthrie, Kentucky.
Linda was born on September 3, 1945, in Clarksville, TN, to the late Clyde Lee Mackey and Audrey Suddeath Mackey. She was a 1963 graduate of Clarksville High School and received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Austin Peay State University in 1985. Her 56-year marriage to Marlon, raising her children and grandchildren, as well as spending time with her extended family and friends, were her greatest joys. She was a social worker for Spring Meadows Nursing Home and later the Tennessee Department of Health and Human Services. A long-time member of Madison Street Church of Christ and later the Church of Christ at Trenton Crossing, Linda was also an avid bridge player and member of the Clarksville Women's Club for which she served as Treasurer.
Survivors include her husband, Marlon Douglas Crow, her daughter, Dr. Marla Crow Troughton (husband, Shawn), and son Dr. Adam Walton Crow (wife, Jennifer); grandchildren Audrey, Davis and Ellie Crow; her nieces, Annette Mackey Bartle, Jennifer Mackey Degler; and nephew Daniel Colton Mackey. She was preceeded in death by her parents; brother, Marion Lee Mackey; and sister-in-law, Rebecca Burden Mackey.
