Linda Janelle Adams

Linda “Janelle” Adams, age 77 of Cumberland City, TN, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at her residence.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2025 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in Crossroads Cemetery.

Family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and again from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service Friday afternoon.

Janelle entered this life on May 9, 1947 in Houston County, TN, daughter to the late Thurman and Vera Mae Lyle. Janelle retired as a Pharmaceutical Tech and had a love for sewing. However, her true passion in life was spending time with her family; she will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, Janelle was preceded in death by her daughter, Donnita Spears; and brother, Donald Lyle.

Survivors include her loving husband of 58 years, Wayne Adams; son, Dewayne Adams; grandchildren, Cody Spears, Dillon (Britnee) Spears, Paden (Sierra Boone) Spears; great-grandchildren, Kaiden Spears, Aubree Spears, Grayson Spears, Collin Spears, Miley Spears, Colter Spears, and Luke Spears.

Serving as pallbearers will be Cody Spears, Dillon Spears, Paden Spears, Dallas Hendry, Dustin Reed, Lewis Moore, Jason Burgess, and Greg McAskill.
