Lilie Rose Black

Lilie Rose Black, age 73, of Tennessee Ridge, TN passed away July 23, 2024 at her residence. 

 A Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 29, 2024 at Black Cemetery with Bro. Dennis Kirk officiating. 

 Lilie entered this life on January 8, 1951, in Stevenson, AL, daughter to the late John Wilder Godsey and Opel Gladys Newport. Lilie had a love for the outdoors where she enjoyed hiking and fishing; she will be greatly missed. 

 In addition to her parents, Lilie was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Dean Black.

 Survivors include her loving siblings, Wilder Christine (Dallas) Moses, David (Martha) Godsey, Patsy (Thomas) Letterman, Violet (Alan) Watson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
