Lettie Rae Kentner, 98, Palmyra, died Saturday, December 4, 2010, at Gateway Medical Center. A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Paul Gardner officiating. Burial will be in Jackson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Monday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home. An Eastern Star service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born September 27, 1912, daughter of Alfred and Winnie Jackson Reaves. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Kentner, daughter, Helen Geneva Kentner, son Donnie Michael Kentner, twin sister Lattie Mae Hollis, and brothers Owen and Hubert Reaves. Mrs. Kentner was a member of Palmyra United Methodist Church and of the Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include her son Ronnie (Pam) Kentner of Cunningham, daughters Shirley (Charles) Yarbrough of Clarksville, Linda (James) Miller of Palmyra, Elaine (William) Merryman of Goodletsville, Dorothy (Gery) Ezell of Clarksville, and Maxine (Robert) Buck of Clarksville, thirteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. Grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
