Leslie Denise Hatton, age 70 of Clarksville, TN passed away Sunday, July 3, 2022.
Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 8, 2022, at Hilldale Baptist Church with Dr. Larry Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at Brewer’s Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, July 7, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home, and again on Friday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the
church.
Leslie entered this life on October 26, 1951, as a Navy brat in Norfolk, VA to the late Bryce and Peggy Johnson Hatton. She graduated from Benson High School and Eastern New Mexico University, going on to teach in the Texas School system. Leslie was very artistic, especially when it came to fiber crafts. She enjoyed participating as a reenactor at Historic Collinsville and Ft. Donelson. She was a gamer unknowingly to her grandchildren. Leslie was a member of Hilldale Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandchild, Perry Bryce Williams; sister, Margaret “Micki” Irene Hatton.
Survivors include her daughters, Katherine (Christopher) Williams, Heather (Marc) Schwab; grandchildren, Christopher Thomas, Carolina Schwab, Shelia Thomas, Emily Williams, Paiden Williams, Preston Williams, Paxton Williams, Clara Williams; stepmom, Sharon Cary; brother, Brian Hatton; sisters, Rebecca Bradley, Janice Kathleen “Kathy” Browning.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
The Hatton family encourages the re-enactors to wear their historic clothing.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friends of Ft. Defiance and Hope Pregnancy Center.
