Leonard Wayne Scarborough

Leonard Wayne Scarborough, age 71 of Millbrook, AL, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Baptist South Medical Center in Montgomery, AL from a severe stroke and a large blood clot on the brain.
The family will receive family and friends on Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home in Erin, TN. Graveside services will be held 12:00 p.m. Friday, September 24, 2021 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with full military honors.
Wayne entered this life on February 21, 1950 in Clarksville, TN, son to the late Loyd and Mary Scarborough.
Wayne loved his family, serving in the Air Force, working and restoring his love, his 1951 GMC pickup “Little Darlin” and in later years, cross-stitching.
In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by his great-granddaughter, Haley; brother, Phillip; nephews, Mark, Jason, and many aunts and uncles.
In addition to his loving wife Linnea of 46 years, Wayne leaves behind three daughters, Janna (Mooresville, NC), Tara (Auburn, AL), Brita (Millbrook, AL); and twin sons, William and Justin (Millbrook, AL). He also leaves behind six grandchildren; Autumn, Sydney, Mary Elizabeth, Rebecca, Skylar and Tyler. He will greatly be missed by his eight great-grandchildren, Gage, Billie, Elijah, Jermiah, Demetri, Hasleigh and Karson. Wayne will be missed by his three remaining siblings, Linda, Maggie and Sandy, along with a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
