Leola Cosby

Leola `Petie` Cosby, 91, Erin, TN, died Saturday, June 27, 2009, at Signature Health Care of Erin. The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at Nave Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Winegardner officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday and from 12 noon until the time of service Monday at the funeral home. Nave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born May 22, 1918 in Belville, Texas, daughter of Frank and Alice Young Perkins. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Andrew M. Cosby and daughter Charlotte Ann Smith. Mrs. Cosby was a member of the Arlington Assembly Of God and a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxillary. Survivors include her daughter Lola (Jerry) Pillow of Erin, grandchildren Shonia Harris of Texas, Charlotte Hagler of Erin, Deanna Downs of Erin, and seven great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Hagler, Jedediah Downs, Gary Lamberth, Ben Lamberth, Anthony Arthon, and Russell Lamberth. Arrangements in the care of Nave Funeral Home, (931)289-4277.
